Artemisinin attenuates type 2 diabetic cardiomyopathy in rats through modulation of AGE-RAGE/HMGB-1 signaling pathway

Although CGRP has been described to potentiate tracheal muscle contraction in response to capsaicin and an electric field stimulation in vitro [131,132], a more recent study has shown that exogenous CGRP in an allergic mouse model of asthma was able to reduce AHR and eosinophilic inflammation [133]

Cell 80(2):179185 Martin G, Swanson N (2013) Clinical findings using ingenol mebutate gel to treat actinic keratoses

Imaging was performed 24 hours post-transfection using excitation wavelengths of 405 nm and 488 nm, allowing calculation of the redox state under basal conditions, after oxidation with hydrogen peroxide (1 mM H2O2), and following reduction with dithiothreitol (5 mM DTT)

The result is immediate, sometimes dramatic, abdominal distension
