Riboflavin also plays a role in thyroxine metabolism, and its deficiency may contribute to mental illness, because riboflavin activates vitamin B6, leading to lower thyroxine levels, reduced hypothalamic serotonin synthesis, and decreased levels of S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), because of disrupting the folate-methylation pathways involved in SAMe synthesis, all of which are associated with antidepressant effects, consequently, low levels of these compounds may cause depression ( Figure 4 ) (48, 49)
Sound practice treats recurring IV therapy like any other infusion-based protocol: define the indication, set measurable goals, monitor labs and symptoms, and reduce frequency if benefit plateaus or risks rise
Furthermore, while prior studies have individually examined factors such as phospholipid composition 49 , vesicle fusion processes 50 , ethanol concentration and temperature 33 effects on liposome stability, a systematic cross-comparison has been lacking, motivating the current work
Researchers may also examine its association with detoxification mechanisms, reactive species neutralization, and signaling coordination under controlled in vitro conditions
It helps neutralize free radicals, supports liver detoxification, and protects cells from everyday stressors that can impact energy, immunity, and skin
