Space Race empty Large abstract expressionism artI visited Pripyat in Ukraine (Chernobyls ghost city) and saw ruin turn into growth from the overwhelming force of nature. This is an abandoned control room near the Duga Radar in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, Ukraine. Soviet murals on the walls, decayed equipment and nature reclaiming the space while a hopeful future is pictured on the wall. This is a photo transfer on canvas manipulated using acrylics and inks
