Towers of silence | Momoka Omote | Pinhole Books 2025 [SIGNED] Yutaka Takanashi life in winter in the"This is a collection of photographs by up and coming young photographer Momoka Omote, featuring black and white images of crematorium chimneys throughout Japan. She finds meaning in death and the landscape of prayer in these chimneys, which are no longer needed in modern crematoriums and are gradually disappearing. She traveled across Japan, capturing these scenes with a refined gaze that seems to permeate even the atmosphere of the place.
